Hi there everyone! Since we last wrote, we've visited another two islands in Thailand,
Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Samui.

a couple of days on Koh Pha Ngan where we rented a bike and set off on what we thought would be a 7km journey to see one of the islands waterfalls - Than Sadet.
met another couple - an Irish guy called Jim from Belfast and his girlfriend, a Swedish girl called Angelica.

found a little seaside village a bit further down with a lovely beach and a little restaurant where we all sat and shared a few Thai salads and a few drinks

same evening we met up with Jim and Angelica again and had dinner where they were staying - a few bungalows down the beach from us. Learn't a few new card games and watched a video. They were off back to Bangkok the next day and we, we were off to Koh Samui. Which brings us to now...
Morning activities consist of an active stroll to the seaside and some intensive sunbathing (I'm on my fifth layer of skin and have still not come up with a colour I like).

We got here a couple of days ago and spent the night at the island's second most popular beach, Lamai but we found it all a bit quiet and decided to move here, to Chaweng Beach where all the nightlife is.

lolling activities are somewhat curtailed however by the swarms of hawkers who descend on the morning's tourists like a pack of wolves, selling trinkets, sarongs, foods, icecreams and in hushed tones, other things. This morning we dragged ourselves across town to see the temple of the Big Buddha - 18 metres high - you'll see the photo.
